Geothermal Space Heating--Naval Air Rework Facility, Norfolk, Virginia

Description: The electronic integration hangar, designated LP-167, was selected for study, as it was a single-story building with a large floor area. Because of the high ceiling and the sliding doors necessary to admit aircraft, the heat loss rate, based on floor area, was about twice that of commercial buildings.
